Who’s in your tribe?

So what do I mean when I say “Tribe”? You have heard the quote by Jim Rohn that you are the “average of the 5 people you spend the most time with”. Well, those 5 people….they are your tribe!

So how is your tribe influencing you? Are they building you up, challenging you to be your best self, supporting you in your goals and encouraging you to reach for your dreams?

Or…are they the people you find yourself gossiping with, are they constantly complaining about everything…and everyone. Are they distracting you and pulling you away from your goals. Not maliciously, just not pushing you to be your best but instead wanting you to stay where THEY feel comfortable.

Sometimes we all need to do a little evaluation of who is in our inner circle of influence…..our tribe. If we find our lives aren’t moving in the direction we want to go, be it in fitness, health, finances, career….then it could be the influences we are allowing into our life.

Now, I’m not saying to go and un-friend, all of your “friends”! But it may mean pushing some relationships a little further out in your circle. And then being intentional about who you choose for your inner circle.

Because in the end, you all will help each other to grow. And when you grow into your best self…you serve everyone so much better!
